A short page, because there is not much to say. No analytics, no advertising trackers, and no banner because nothing here needs your consent.
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on aresunited.gg, run by Chandler Pickett trading as Ares United. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things between page loads. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are first party; cookies set by anyone else are third party.
These keep the site working and secure. They cannot be switched off without breaking things.
None. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, remarketing tags, or any third party tracker that follows you between sites. If that changes, this page changes first and we will say so in a monthly report.
The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. This does not set a cookie, but your browser does request the font files from Google’s servers, which discloses your IP address to Google. Some people, particularly in the EU, would rather that did not happen.
We can serve the fonts from our own server instead and remove that request entirely. If you would like us to, email us and say so. If enough people ask, we will just do it.
Council checkout happens on Stripe’s own hosted pages, not on this site. Stripe sets its own cookies there for fraud prevention and to keep your checkout session working. Those are governed by Stripe’s privacy policy, not this one.
Where we embed a video or a stream from YouTube, Twitch or a similar service, that provider may set its own cookies once the embed loads. We have no control over those and they are covered by that provider’s policy.
There is no cookie banner on this site, because we do not set anything that requires consent under GDPR or the ePrivacy Directive. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt, and we run nothing else. If we ever add analytics or advertising, a consent banner arrives at the same time.
You can still block or delete cookies yourself in your browser settings. Every major browser has this under privacy or site settings. Blocking the Cloudflare cookie may cause the site to challenge you more often, but nothing will break.
We do not use web beacons, tracking pixels, clear gifs, fingerprinting, or Flash local storage objects.
If the cookies we use change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.

Anything on this page that is unclear, ask. If it is a fair question the answer goes on the Council FAQ so the next person does not have to ask it.
